Taking time to yourself to refresh, re-energize, and rest is so important. There are so many different ways you can practice self-care and it’s different for everyone. Do what what makes you happy and is best for you! It can be taking a walk, listening to music, doing something creative, cooking, dancing, sleeping – whatever it is you need for yourself!
Whenever I need a break, I take the time to write. I write poems, stories, thoughts going on in my head and I just use words to express myself. When I’m done, I always feel so much better, lighter, and happier! And I always make sure to take time in my day or week to do that for me.
