Welcome to the winter semester! I hope the beginning of your year is going well and for any students experiencing winter for the first time, that you are making the most of it! We have lots of great events coming up including our WinterFest at Progress if you want to experience some seasonal fun.

We have a number of other ways to get involved as well. If you are interested in clubs, we just had our clubs open houses across the college and Jan. 31 is the deadline to start a new club. You can find the application and a list of existing clubs on our website ccsai.ca/clubs.
Thank you for all your feedback on the changes to the Board of Directors. The changes were approved at our special general meeting in January. We have created a more streamlined board. The board now has six elected positions; the president, and five campus vice presidents. Our election nomination period opens Jan. 27 so visit ccsai.ca/elections for more information and to find out how you can make a difference.
We have some big news with our campus spaces as well. The Story Arts Centre student lounge and office are getting a full update and we are getting ready to debut a new space at Downsview Campus. Follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for all the details and updates!
